The recent outbreak of bush fires in Victoria reinforced the reality that we are at risk in the Macedon area. We were not directly affected but it made us aware of the thousands who suffered. The ongoing official inquiry has heard of some tragic facts and disturbing miscalculations. Nicola started to implement a volunteer activity to assist survivors. We have had two meetings with members of the local community and now the Macedon Ranges Shire Council is joining forces with three neighbouring shires to create a follow up program. At the heart of this is the reality that fire affected people need help in many different ways long after the actual event. We will do our best to keep you informed and who knows, perhaps you may be one of our volunteers a bit farther down the track...

Nicki's voice over demo CD has proved a hit, with the Black Balloon campaign and two voice over projects for a major client coming from it. She is currently narrating a documentary which is being kept under wraps for the moment. When news can be released we will let you know.
